Valdearenas beach, Paraje de, Iznájar, Córdoba in Spain is one of the most relaxing places we have visited and also a recent find courtesy of a lovely friend. A drive to inland Spain which took us about 70 minutes to finally reach..was amongst mountainous surroundings lined with valleys and fields. The natural vegetation and at times perfectly lined trees along the way was so beautiful to see and also very therapeutic. I guess I was able to soak in all the relaxing parts of the journey as I was passenger and not the driver.
I did take quite a few pictures whilst observing the scenery and there is something about the open air and space that just makes me feel free and at peace.
We walked down the beach, sat on the sand whilst the two family’s of children played in the beautiful lake. We had no buckets and spades just logs floating in the water that was made into pretend boats with sticks for sails.
It almost sounds like a story book and the picture of the children playing with the natural elements truly was a picture. Its something we are not used to seeing …and so refreshing to sit back and watch them have so much fun out of logs and sticks. They screamed, laughed, talked extremely loud, but they had so much fun and was free from any restrictions or space.
